C&G is the newest obsession of Jan Cummings
Good, partner with Peter Good in the illustrious
graphic design studio Cummings & Good. Situated
on the first floor of Peter and Jan’s landmark
building in the heart of Chester Center, the 200
year old space has been lovingly renovated
and returned to its 19th century origins when it
was known as Chester’s Stone Store.



Opened in May 2007, the boutique/gallery has
become a welcome retreat from the bright lights,
loud colors and overbearing prints and prices
often found elsewhere. An impressive variety of
black, grey and brown predominate.



The eclectic collection of clothing and accessories
even includes some choice selections for men.
Comfort, practicality and versatility are the hallmarks
of Jan’s individual taste, with the exception of
some outrageous Paris hats and overly high heels...



C&G is also the place to find Peter and Jan’s art
prints, note cards and of course, BOOK 2010,
their unusual wall calendar in a time capsule. We welcome your visit. Let us surprise you with what
you didn’t even know you were looking for!
